We Are ITC students from Ms. Furcinito’ s classes journeyed to Hobart and William Smith Colleges to participate in Science on Seneca (SOS), an EPA-award-winning environmental education program. Students went out on the research vessel, William Scandling, to conduct field-based data collection using state-of-the-art equipment. Later in the day, the students learned how their data would be used to better understand changes that occur in Seneca Lake in order to keep it healthy.
