ELMS Incoming 6th Grade Students Summer Field Work

Incoming ELMS 6th graders completed four days of field work with ESF to explore connections between natural communities and our ELMS community.  Students investigated the delicate balance of stream ecosystems, used problem solving and collaboration skills to engineer boats and towers, and investigated what it means to be a steward of the environment.  Students then applied new learning to their growing understanding of what our ELMS community stands for and how it works.
