Superintendent's Message to Staff - November 22

As we head into the Thanksgiving recess I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you are able to spend the upcoming days with those who are most important to you and that you also have time to relax and reflect on what you are grateful for.

I have many things in my life to be grateful for but most especially for everyone in the Syracuse City School District.  For over 30 years the students, their families and all of the staff have been such an important part of my life and for that I am extremely grateful.  I am proud to work alongside such dedicated and committed people.

I would like to especially thank and recognize all of the staff and students and the entire community for coming together to help Chase Coleman find his love for running again.  The abundance of support was overwhelming and showed what a wonderful community we all have to be thankful for.  A special thank you to Corcoran coach John Hohm and JD coach Mike Melfi for helping to organize the event.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
