The Smart Scholars Early College Program at the Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central

Students at college
The Smart Scholars Early College Program is a partnership between institutions of higher education and public school districts to create Early College High Schools.  Students are provided with the opportunity and preparation to accelerate the completion of their high school studies while simultaneously earning transferable college credits.  Smart Scholar students are provided with support at ITC and on campus at our college partners to ensure their succes.

Thanks to a Smart Scholars Early College Program grant, the Smart Scholars program at ITC is open to all students in the Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, and Media Communications pathways.  A seperate grant supports students in the Biotechnology pathway.  Please visit the New York State Department of Education Smart Scholars Early College High School Program page for more information.
