Vision:  We are a Technical Institute for the 21st Century.

Mission:  To develop academically successful and socially responsible citizens who are fully prepared to take on the challenges of college and careers in the 21st Century.
  • By the end of the 2016-17 school year, 90% of students in 2013 Cohort will graduate and the percent of graduates earning Advanced Designation will increase to 18%.
  • By the end of the school year, 75% of lesson plans will incorporate effective student engagement practices, such as higher-order thinking questions, think-pair-share, socratic seminar, etc. resulting in opportunities for students to engage in dialogue/discourse with one another at least twice during instruction as measured by lesson plan checks and walkthroughs.
  • 100% of core and CTE teachers will follow the school-wide data analysis process to identify strengths and need, to create and submit action plan in response to the data to admin team and coach for feedback and monitoring a minimum of quarterly.
  • By the end of the school year, 75% of teachers will implement student engagement practices, such as higher-order thinking questions, think-pair-share, socratic seminar, etc. resulting in 80% students engaging in dialogue/discourse with one another in alignment with lesson objective at least twice during instruction as measured by walkthroughs and formal observations.
  • By final survey administration, 85% of students will report an increase in positive responses from baseline on school-developed culture and climate survey that focuses on the target areas (i.e. bullying, safety,).
  • Increase reciprocal communication methods from 2015-16  School Year, and adjust the Family/Community Event Calendar and information nights schedule by November based on the results as evidenced by the school calendar posted on the website.

Meet the ITC Valedictorian & Salutatorian!: Solomon Lawrence ITC Valedictorian   Solomon plans to attend Cornell University’s College of Arts and Science where he will major in Biology.   What activities have you been involved in outside of class/outside of school? Roberts & ITC Students Help Curate OHA Exhibition: Students from Roberts and ITC recently worked with the Onondaga Historical Association to help curate an exhibition, “We Make America: Stories of Sanctuary and Immigration.”   Focused on exploring the migration of Syracuse residents, including the immigrant and refugee experience, students interviewed friends or family members who came from another nation. Please Join Us for a Family Discussion!: You are cordially invited to dinner and a discussion with staff from the Office of Student Support Services, Office of Family Engagement and the Chief Ombuds Officer. Get Ready to Register for High School Summer School: Summer school registration for high school students is fast approaching!  Summer school will run from 8:30 - 11:55 am at Henninger (for Henninger, Nottingham and ITC students) and PSLA at Fowler (for PSLA, Fowler, Corcoran and ITC students).
