Vision:  We are a Technical Institute for the 21st Century.

Mission:  To develop academically successful and socially responsible citizens who are fully prepared to take on the challenges of college and careers in the 21st Century.

Goals:
  • By the end of the 2016-17 school year, 90% of students in 2013 Cohort will graduate and the percent of graduates earning Advanced Designation will increase to 18%.
  • By the end of the school year, 75% of lesson plans will incorporate effective student engagement practices, such as higher-order thinking questions, think-pair-share, socratic seminar, etc. resulting in opportunities for students to engage in dialogue/discourse with one another at least twice during instruction as measured by lesson plan checks and walkthroughs.
  • 100% of core and CTE teachers will follow the school-wide data analysis process to identify strengths and need, to create and submit action plan in response to the data to admin team and coach for feedback and monitoring a minimum of quarterly.
  • By the end of the school year, 75% of teachers will implement student engagement practices, such as higher-order thinking questions, think-pair-share, socratic seminar, etc. resulting in 80% students engaging in dialogue/discourse with one another in alignment with lesson objective at least twice during instruction as measured by walkthroughs and formal observations.
  • By final survey administration, 85% of students will report an increase in positive responses from baseline on school-developed culture and climate survey that focuses on the target areas (i.e. bullying, safety,).
  • Increase reciprocal communication methods from 2015-16  School Year, and adjust the Family/Community Event Calendar and information nights schedule by November based on the results as evidenced by the school calendar posted on the website.
