The number of students who are eligible to enroll in kindergarten at Dr. King and Franklin Elementary Schools for the 2014-2015 school year currently exceeds the number of seats available.  To ensure a fair and equitable assignment process, we will conduct a computerized lottery for each building to determine who will be assigned to Dr. King and Franklin Elementary Schools in the fall.
 
To confirm receipt of the letter that was mailed to your home, and your participation in the Dr. King or Franklin Elementary School Kindergarten Lotteries, you must complete the online forms below by midnight August 4, 2014.   This online form will allow you the opportunity to select your first, second and third choice of schools within your quadrant.  If your child is not selected in the Dr. King Elementary School Kindergarten Lottery, he/she will be assigned to one of your schools of choice.  This assignment process will be based on seat availability.
