Established in 2013, the Syracuse Latin School is a public elementary school that is designed to engage gifted students in an accelerated and highly structured academic program connected to student interests.  The vision of Syracuse Latin is to celebrate learning by providing an academically rigorous curriculum with a focus on leadership, citizenship and intellectual growth. NOTICE: We will be accepting applications for students entering Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade (limited space available at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade levels). Completion of the Syracuse Latin Application does not guarantee enrollment into Syracuse Latin.  Your child will be required to participate in the Syracuse Latin testing process.  The Department of Student Testing will contact you to schedule Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the testing process.  Once the testing process is complete, the Department of Student Registration will notify you in writing of your child's admission status.  If your child is not currently enrolled in the Syracuse City School District, you will be required to complete the registration process prior to placement.

Will your child be entering kindergarten for the first time?
Parents or guardians of children entering kindergarten for the first time, or students who were withdrawn from a Syracuse City school District or agency Universal Pre-K Program during the 2016-2017 school year, must also complete an online Kindergarten Enrollment Application.  The online Kindergarten Enrollment application for the 2017-2018 school year is available beginning February 1 by Clicking Here or visting www.enrollinsyracusecityschools.com.

Will your child be entering the district as a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th grader?
If you are the parent or guardian of a student who will be entering 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade and you are interested in applying to Syracuse Latin, please complete the online Syracuse Latin application during the application period of February 1 - March 15 April 15. Parents or guardians of children who will be entering grades 1 - 12 in September 2017 will be required to submit an online registration application during the 2017-2018 Open Enrollment period, which will begin May 1, 2017.  Please visit www.enrollinsyracusecityschools.com during the Open Enrollment period or call the Student Registration Center at (315) 435-4545 for additional information.
