P-TECH Informational Meetings
The Career & Technical Education office wants to make you aware we are planning two P-TECH Informational meetings for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade families.  The same P-TECH Informational presentation (addressing all P-TECH opportunities available to SCSD incoming 9th graders) will be held at two locations (Henninger and PSLA) so families can attend whichever is more convenient.  On January 16th there will be a P-TECH Informational Night at Henninger from 5:30 – 6:30  and one at PSLA @ Fowler on January 17th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.  The district will be promoting these events through the local media and there will be promotional material sent directly to families.  The timing is intentionally just before the CTE EXPO to maximize the opportunities available to families to learn about the P-TECH programs.

MISSION - ELMS is a safe and welcoming community that fosters student achievement through an expeditionary process of inquiry, collaboration, and adventure.

VISION - ELMS students will work effectively within a diverse setting to positively impact their school and community as “upstanders” rather than “bystanders” and demonstrate a strong desire to achieve in high school, college, and career.
